The books

Power Without Permission

Power Without Permission was written by Andreas Pettersson with thirteen women leaders and published in September 2025. Each co-author tells a real story of being underestimated, second guessed or talked over, and what she did next. The practical tools between the stories are about quieting impostor syndrome, setting boundaries that hold, and leading with the brilliance you already have rather than waiting for someone to grant permission. The book is the foundation of the Power Without Permission Community run by Leaders ADAPT.

AI Leadership Mastermind

AI Leadership Mastermind is written for non technical CEOs and COOs who have to make AI decisions without an engineering background. It names the seven strategic AI mistakes leadership teams make when they treat AI as a technology decision, and lays out the framework Leaders ADAPT uses to decide where AI creates real leverage in a business. It draws on nine years of using AI as a force multiplier at Arcules, the company Andreas built and sold to Canon.

About the author

Andreas Pettersson is a three time CEO. He built Arcules from zero to more than 150 employees, sold it to Canon, and became Canon's youngest standalone CEO. He created the Leaders ADAPT framework and hosts the Adapt or Die podcast.
